Don’t buy into the videos and/or so-called “documentaries” criticizing the Spiritual Practice of Falun Gong, aka Falun Dafa.
The characters in front of you may be colorful, engaging and seemingly convinced of everything they say. But each one is pulling you down, into a state of mind and being that no one would consciously choose.
Let me explain a few things to make this all clear.
I, myself, am a Falun Gong Practitioner; someone who many would also put into the category of “black American.” I am just one of well over 100 million people studying the practice today, who live in countries all over the world and are of every ethnicity you can imagine,
The main and largest part of our body exists in China, where Master LI Hongzhi emerged and first brought this practice into public view.
The more than 100 million people who study and practice Falun Dafa come from every segment of society. Not only that, but many operate at the highest level of their respective fields.
Among them are scientists of every sort, icons of industry, business moguls, prodigious artists and esteemed intellectuals.
There are also others who have been journeying through the spiritual side of life for many decades, amassing levels of wisdom that most people today could not conceptualize.
Many of those I speak of are the best, of the best, of the best of their class; people who would be labeled “genius” by a lot of men and women alive today.
Yet they, with all that expertise and experience, have discovered, through dilligent self-exploration, that this path is above all others. The natural question that arises might be, “Why?”
What is it that these people see or have experienced that others just might not comprehend yet? Think about it.
Many people in the secular world have fallen prey to a common human psychological distortion. It’s the belief that those who understand more than the average person are somehow deluded; that they collectively make worse decisions than others who may not have an equally extensive point of view.
Somehow we think they’re just being fooled; taken in by the most simplistic game of “Smoke and Mirrors.” But stop and ask yourself:
“Is that really and most likely the Truth?”
How do you know for sure? Let me take you back through a bit of history.
In the early 1990s Master Li started teaching Falun Dafa publicly. People in China at the time realized how profound and great this practice was, and it began to spread like wildfire.
There were many tangible phenomena that started to appear and caused this to happen:
People began to get well, physically. Many acute, chronic and even fatal illnesses disappeared without a trace. Numerous Practitioners experienced more youthfulness and increased levels of energy.
Morale all around the country rose by exponential proportions. The teachings of Falun Gong insist that working on one’s own character is a top priority. Practitioners continually strive to be the best people they can be, at all times, and in all areas of life.
Families were healed. Workplace effort, loyalty and productivity shot upward. People began to treat each other “better” all around. Practitioners were taught to look out for and care for others, instead of competing for wealth, fame, status and self-interest.
On top of all this, the country’s yearly healthcare expenditure dropped by about $1 billion and that amount was growing.
Falun Gong, being so overwhelmingly positive, was actually endorsed by the government at first. It made sense, because people who practiced were happier, healthier, more content with life; they worked better and harder.
“Wait a minute,” you might say, “this is all good stuff. So what happened?”
Well, there were a lot of factors at play. For one, Master Li Hongzhi decided to pull Falun Gong out of the Chinese government’s Qigong Association. He refused to charge anyone money to learn the practice; something that the organization encouraged.
Falun Dafa is a Divine Way brought forth by Master Li for humanity’s evolution. Therefore, Master Li also would not let it become a political tool, limited to or influenced by the agenda of any government office.
Let’s explore a little deeper. In case you didn’t know, at that time, the Chinese Communist Party had a very authoritarian stronghold over its subjects.
A regime like the Chinese Communist Party thrives on domination, subjugation, manipulation, mind control and fear. Then the question is: “Given its well-established way of doing things, what kind of movements would a government like that be against?”
Just ponder that for a moment.
You see, after people start practicing Falun Dafa, when they’re sincere and committed, other things start to happen too. One’s character not only rises, but so does his or her consciousness.
People begin to perceive what they could not see before; become more aware of the world and what’s really going on. The life of a practitioner generally expands beyond what most people could imagine. Fear within them also disappears, and all brainwashing begins to lose its grip.
Once it was clear that Falun Dafa would NOT become a government asset; once people of that nation began to grow and evolve, the Chinese Communist Party “lost it,” big time. Almost overnight, they orchestrated an attack on Falun Gong, trying to crush it in any way possible. Endless resources were allocated to fulfill this mission.
The attack spread out worldwide. The reach of a monster like the Chinese Communist Party isn’t limited to just its own land. Shills, far and wide, were put on center stage, to either speak out loud or copy in writing the scripts prepared for them
Numerous people who had no knowledge of or involvement with Falun Dafa had something to say. Meanwhile, in China, the Party began snatching people off the street who continued to practice this peaceful way of Spiritual Attainment.
Countless men and women were beaten, sometimes to death, imprisoned, put into labor camps, tortured, brainwashed, raped, and subjected to the live harvesting of their organs.
All of this has been well-documented by too many insiders to count. Among them are high level scientists, physicians, medical examiners and officials that exposed the dark secrets of China’s highly profitable organ transplant industry.
Falun Gong is a Spiritual Practice, not a religion, not a political faction, not a business. Amidst all the undue suffering, we Practitioners still strive to love those who claim to be our “enemies” and offer unlimited compassion toward other beings.
The attempted eradication campaign against those who practice, has continued now for 25 years. During this time, an ocean of evil propaganda has been spread out across the world.
Hoaxes, designed to pollute the minds of Jane and Joe Public have been orchestrated and executed with precision. The occasional Mystery Man or Woman comes out of Oblivion to put Falun Gong “in its place,” to criticize the Practice, or tell the “real deal” taken from his or her (never happened) experience
Those very, very small number of former practitioners who spoke out against or wrote bad things about Falun Dafe-most were simply forced to. Remember that a big part of the Chinese Communist Party’s campaign involved torture- psychological, physical, mental, etc-brutal torture on its own, peaceful citizens.
You don’t hear about the 1000s upon 1000s who were subjugated to this unrelenting wave of terror, but held strong. Many Practitioners who endured this treatment, but remained alive, continue to practice.
They still practice today, despite all that has happened.
Naturally, some just couldn’t take it and gave in-for any number of reasons. As Falun Gong Practitioners, we hold no animosity in our hearts toward these people or anyone else, for that matter.
Remember that many of those who practice are the best, of the best, of the best in their fields; some of the greatest minds in today’s world.
Yet, this average guy or gal who steps in front of a camera to talk down about Falun Dafa; what level of wisdom, experience, comprehension, or character do you sense being emitted from that individual?
I learned something long ago about the power that different forms of media have to influence people, especially video. Careful editing can make viewers have any opinion about a subject that the filmmaker wants them to.
You may already know that countless so-called alternative communities exist right now all over the world. There are eco villages, communes, co-ops, compounds, camps and everything in between.
There are also religious groups. like the Amish for instance, all doing their own thing without bothering anyone. Of course, as I said before, Falun Gong is not a religion. It is Spiritual Practice.
But even I, myself, have imagined at times what it would be like to build an off-grid compound for family members on a private piece of land. If I were to go out and do that; if I secured the resources and land; if I put in the effort to build something that allows me to live peacefully, sustainably and privately, would that make me evil?
And if I decided to teach my own children independently; to share with them all the knowledge, wisdom, gifts and insights that I painstakingly gathered over the course of my life, instead of sending them off at a certain age to the government center for training, where they will undoubtedly be formed to fit the agenda of strangers; if I choose to take on that responsibility-would that be “bad?”
“But we don’t know what they’re doing,” people say. Or, “We just want to ensure that their building is up to code, or get in and see exactly what’s going on.”
In the beginning, I stated that many people would classify me as a so-called “Black” American. And objections like the ones just described reminded me of growing up in the southern United States. I’ll describe an experience that many people, much like me, can attest to:
They might move into a so-called “nice” neighborhood. Many people there are kind, courteous, and really great neighbors. However, eventually, a random lady or guy might stop by, “just to be neighborly” of course.
But, then, this new individual will begin to engage in a surprisingly strange and awkward, but very inquisitive, type of small talk. One might sense that they were “digging” for something; that they actually just wanted to stop by and “see what was going on.” Those situations still don’t “feel” right, though. That’s all I’ll really say about it.
You have an incredible power, one that should be used frequently. It is called Inner Discernment.
I write all this because there are people out there who would have greatly benefited from the practice of Falun Gong; it might have become the greatest, best and most important discovery of their entire lives.
Yet some of them have been swayed to take a negative position towards the practice, because of the agents in sheep’s clothing.
If you want to study Falun Gong, fine. If you don’t, okay. But just be sure to make your own decisions.
All the teachings of Master Li and Falun Dafa are free to the public and can be found online. If you have already been studying Spirituality and are knowledgeable to some degree of this subject, I would encourage you to start with the book Zhuan Falun, which is the core text and teachings of Falun Dafa. You can find it HERE.
If you check out the book, read it without the need to agree or disagree. Just go through the entire manuscript holding an unconditioned frame of mind. Use your own inner discernment afterwards.
If you are fairly new to the topic of Spirituality and would still like to learn, it might be better to start with the book “Falun Gong,” and that can be found HERE as well.
In any case, I wish you The Best. Take care and thanks for reading.
